Improving optical properties of white light-emitting diodes using triple-layer remote structure

Inrecent efforts to improve the performance ofwhite light-emitting diode (WLEDs), researchers have focused on angular color uniformity (ACU), an effective index for evaluating light quality of WLEDs. Inthis article, we also aim WLED development by applying three phosphor layers in remote structure. The dual-layer (DLP) structure is included research comparison with triple-layer (TLP) terms their impacts lighting To ensure diversity and applicability different scenarios, performancesof multi-layer structures devices average correlatedcolor temperatures (ACCTs) from 5600 K 8500K are measured. experimental results proved that both TLP DLP suitable enhance WLEDs’ as each excels at specific qualities. In particular, all ACCTs, getting better improvingthe rendering (CRI), while more advantageous scale (CQS) output. presents a lower deviation than does, which leads WLEDs ACCTs.
